Baseball and Rain Series

Baseball and rain .Rain rain go away please come back another day! How many times have you heard that since your childhood. Rain and baseball have to be looked at in many ways, and many angles .Springtime rain, in March ,April, and May in  New England is not too much fun .Its raw, its wet, its cold and no one wants to get out there to play 9, or 7 ,or 6 depending your age and level unless you love the game. Fortunately I love the game, as do all my kids and wife so we watch and huddle . We play in the wind the cold the drizzle and only stop in the downpours . Last year my son played from April till November 1  ,so you know he loves the game!So when anybody tells you they can not play in the Rain ,tell them about the kids in New England, in the mud and ,wind ,on rainy days. Oh we also play in the snow but only flurries!!!
